This piece was originally painted in Brooklyn in 1994 with one of my old writing partners Phobe. I think this is when Summer Squash first came out and that’s what I outlined my piece with. You can see the grade school picture laser beam effects inside my piece, those shits are fly huh?

The Revamped piece was also rocked in Brooklyn. I tried to stay as true to the original forms as possible. I made the H curve instead of kink, I made the O a swirl type of shape like in the original but had to shape it out a bit different. I tried making it closer to the first piece but it just wasn’t happening. I rounded off the top of the S in the revamp and kept the T very similar in form but ended it off with a classic heart instead of that broken anchor in the original joint. I kept my internals black and added some purple haze and blue chips. I outlined in some ultra shitty yellow Belton, huge mistake, I had the worst time with that shit… its like lemonade. Over all I had a good time revisiting the old piece and hyping it up though. Till the next revamp, peace!
